Monte Carlo never disappoints, and this year’s race—the second round of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup—was no exception, delivering plenty of drama and instantly writing a new chapter in the history of the German one-make series.

Just seconds after the start, contact among the leading cars triggered a multi-car incident involving numerous vehicles and forcing race control to bring out the red flag. Pietro Delli Guanti showed composure and skill as he navigated through the initial chaos, managing to avoid damage to his car despite losing several positions.

Following an extended stoppage to restore track safety, the race resumed in a sprint format of just four laps. In this short but intense shootout, the young Dinamic Motorsport driver fought with determination, crossing the line just half a second off the Rookie podium, narrowly missing out on a prestigious result.

The next round of the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup is already scheduled for this weekend at the Montmeló circuit in Barcelona, where Delli Guanti is eager to seize new opportunities and confirm his competitiveness.

Pietro Delli Guanti:
“A mixed weekend in Monte Carlo. After a strong free practice session, we couldn’t quite find the right pace in qualifying—and on a track like this, starting from the back makes everything more difficult. I wasn’t directly involved in the crash at the start, but I still paid the price and lost positions. I finished P12, which isn’t a terrible result, but given how the weekend was shaping up, I can’t be fully satisfied. Still, we learn and move forward!”
