Misano Adriatico (ITA) – The first round of the Porsche Carrera Cup Italia, held at the Misano Adriatico circuit in Romagna, confirmed Pietro Delli Guanti as one of the most promising drivers on the grid. The young Apulian talent secured the rookie win in the night race and was on track to repeat the result in Race 2, had it not been for a post-race penalty.
Following a less-than-ideal qualifying session, Delli Guanti showed great consistency in Race 1, taking the top rookie spot with a clean and well-managed drive. In Race 2, a strong start immediately placed him in the leading group. The battle remained intense all the way to the checkered flag, which he crossed once again as the leading rookie and inside the overall top ten.
A ten-second penalty applied after the race took away the win and the points, but it did not overshadow the impressive performance he delivered on track.
