Global Driver Management is pleased to highlight the strong debut of its driver Miguel Costa in the opening round of the 2025 Spanish F4 Championship, held this past weekend at MotorLand Aragón.
Driving for Campos Racing, Costa showed excellent speed throughout the weekend, especially during Sunday’s races, and closed the round with two fourth-place finishes among the Rookies and valuable points in the overall championship.
After promising pace in Friday’s sessions, Saturday proved to be a more challenging day. Despite climbing from P10 to P8 on track, a post-race penalty dropped Miguel out of the points. However, the young Brazilian bounced back on Sunday with strong performances: in Race 2, he charged from P13 to P7 overall, securing P4 among the Rookies and setting the second fastest lap of the race. In Race 3, an incident at the start forced him to avoid a stalled car, but he still recovered to finish P9 overall and once again fourth among the Rookies.
“We’re definitely among the fastest this weekend,” said Costa. “Race 2 was nearly perfect, and although Race 3 was more complicated at the start, I managed to stay out of trouble and finish strong. Saturday was a bit frustrating, but overall we showed great pace and we’re improving fast.”
Thanks to these results, Miguel Costa leaves Aragón in fifth place in the Rookie standings with six points, and 12th in the overall championship. A solid foundation as the season gets underway.
The 2025 Spanish F4 Championship will resume from May 2nd to 4th at the Navarra circuit — a track where Costa has already shown strong form, claiming second place among the rookies earlier this year during the Spanish Winter Championship. GDM looks forward to supporting Miguel as he continues his promising campaign.
