Global Driver Management proudly celebrates the strong performance of its driver Miguel Costa, who concluded the Spanish F4 Winter Championship with a victory in the Rookie Sprint Race and an impressive fourth place in the rookie standings, playing a key role in securing the team title for Campos Racing.
Widely regarded as one of the most promising Brazilian talents in single-seaters, Costa delivered his best pre-season performance to date at the Navarra circuit. After winning the rookie classification in the Sprint Race and finishing second overall on Saturday, he returned to the podium on Sunday with P2 among the rookies in Race 3.
“I’m happy with the weekend — the rookie win, the overall podium in the Sprint, and especially the comeback in Race 3,” said Costa. “We’re working hard, learning every session, and growing step by step. I want to thank Campos Racing, my coach, mechanic, and engineer for their incredible support.”
Despite a tough start to the weekend — including a compromised Race 1 due to an on-track incident and challenging weather conditions — Miguel showed his pace and determination. In Race 3, he charged from 15th on the grid to 6th overall, claiming what he described as his best F4 race so far.
With consistent results and four rookie podiums over the course of the championship, Costa finished fourth in the Rookie standings and eighth overall, tallying 33 points and standing out as the only South American driver in the overall top 10.
His focus now shifts to the official Spanish F4 Championship, which kicks off with the opening round at MotorLand Aragón from March 28th to 30th. GDM looks forward to supporting Miguel’s continued development as he enters the main season with momentum and confidence.
