Our driver Sofia Necchi showcased her talent last week at Cadwell Park (UK) during the 2024 edition of the FW Competition. The event, which spanned three days, saw 62 girls competing (with Sofia being the only minor) aiming to win the coveted first prize: a season in the Radical series in the UK. After spending the first day attending various meetings with industry experts, Sofia faced driving tests, media challenges, fitness assessments, and reflex tests over the next two days. Despite her complete unfamiliarity with the English track, Sofia secured 12th place overall at the end of the first day. On the third and final day, rain further complicated matters for the Milanese driver, preventing her from advancing to the final shootout. Despite feeling a bit disappointed, Sofia gained valuable experience for her future motorsport career and the satisfaction of leaving an impression on the selectors.
